Important Facts

As a professionally trained Security Operative for JDAM Security, you could be part of a security team responsible for securing a wide variety of our client’s premises. You may be required to conduct foot or vehicle patrols, control access to the property, secure equipment and people, respond to emergencies, monitor CCTV or help to identify and prevent criminal activity.

As a maintenance assistant, you will assist the team in the upkeep of clients buildings where required. The role will involve responding to clients’ maintenance requests when needed, assisting with improvement projects and attending to any planned maintenance tasks. The position allows working casual, variable hours, which may include weekends and bank holidays. Alongside this, there may be on-call hours within this position, so flexibility is required.

Casual Security Operatives (SIA)

The hours of work available are varied and flexible. You will form an essential part of the safety management team, controlling entry and maintaining good order whilst being aware of and ensuring the complete care, comfort and well-being of a range of audiences. We strive to achieve a high customer care level and ensure all customers receive a good experience and service.

Candidate Requirements :

Please note: You must be the holder of a current SIA Licence (CCTV, Vehicle immobiliser, Door Supervisor, Close Protection or Security Guard) for this role.

£10.00 – £14.00 per hour (From Starting)

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

We are screening a person’s suitability to enter the event or venue, e.g. individuals under the influence of alcohol or drugs or demonstrating anti-social behaviour.

The role may include searching for bags to ensure no unauthorised access or damage to property or injury to others.

You may be required to search persons and property to prevent unauthorised or illegal items from entering the premises, e.g. cameras, alcohol, drugs or weapons.

You may also need to respond to incidents within crowds, queues, or the audience to control antisocial behaviour, undesirable or likely to harm others.

Ejecting individuals from a venue or event or designated area, e.g. concert pit or backstage areas

Protecting a track or other identifiable areas from spectators or others prevents damage to property or persons.

You will be providing a security presence to prevent, deter and detect crime within a designated area.

Guarding a property and equipment on-site during the setup and breaking down, for example, an event or exhibition.

Patrolling the perimeter of premises to prevent unauthorised entry gained by individuals, through the climbing or breaching of any fences or barriers, or through being let in via an access

Protection of our client’s assets, and property whether stationed as a guard or dispatched by mobile patrol/ keyholding services

Job Summary

**This is an on-call role only, suitable for anyone looking to add some Flexi hours to their current schedule;  – a valid frontline SIA license is required, please do not apply unless you understand this and accept the terms stated below**

Due to expansion, positions have become available for honest, reliable, and courteous people in our Alarm Response Department role. The job is an on-call vacancy, and you will be required to be available to respond to disturbances at our clients’ premises promptly (no longer than 30 mins maximum).

We are looking to employ someone very quickly and will be an immediate start for the right applicant. The pay rate will be £25 on the initial call-out, then £10.00 per hour for each consecutive hour you are on the client’s site.

Where you use your vehicle, the cost of fuel expenses will be reimbursed at a rate of 0.45p for the first 10,000 miles then 0.25p per mile after that.

The right applicant must have their vehicle, clean driving license and be available between the hours of 19:00 – 07:00, seven days a week.

Responsibilities and Duties

The Response Officer will be responsible for:

Attending and checking a variety of premises, both residential and commercial

The operation of various alarm system control units. (we will provide instructions on the assignment sheet).

Resolving problems which may involve liaising with the police and our customers or our Service Technicians

Providing detailed written reports

Protection of clients keys and premises

Qualifications and Skills

The hours of work available are varied and flexible. You will form an essential part of the venue safety management team, controlling entry and maintaining good order whilst being aware of and ensuring the absolute care, comfort and well-being of a range of audiences. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Office Administrator

The hours of work available are varied and flexible. You will form an essential part of the management team. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

You will be answering and making phone calls to existing and potential clients, answering emails as the first point of contact, organising the JDAM workload, managing the input and completing tasks/projects, invoicing, engaging with non-payers and basic accounting.

Must be computer literate, have good written and communication skills, confident on a telephone, and can organise incoming workload.

A good understanding of the security and maintenance sectors is desirable; however, we can provide training.

Maintenance Assistant

A position is now available for a Maintenance Assistant to join the team at JDAM.

The successful candidate will assist the team in the upkeep of clients buildings where required. This will involve responding to clients’ maintenance requests when needed, assisting with improvement projects and attending to any planned maintenance tasks.

This is a permanent position to work casual, variable hours. This may include weekends and bank holidays. Alongside this, there may be on-call hours within this position, so flexibility is required.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist in the maintenance of client properties and company buildings. You would complete maintenance jobs as the client requests them and when requested by the management team.

Assist in the completion of any repair projects or redecoration.

Complete any planned daily, weekly and monthly maintenance tasks.

Work within the grounds team to complete general grounds maintenance, including complete grass cutting, strimming and edging.

Complete any necessary paperwork following repairs and maintenance.

What experience you will need:-

Previous maintenance experience is an advantage

Property Inspector

We have an exciting opportunity to join our expanding team as a Property Inspector. You will be responsible for maintaining and inspecting a portfolio of properties. You will attend properties on scheduled days to check and detail any findings via an app.

The successful candidate will assist the team in the upkeep of clients buildings where required. The role will involve reporting maintenance issues when discovered.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Ensuring that inspections are completed regularly and Landlords are updated via submission of digital form immediately.

Suggest improvement works to Landlords to maintain the fabric of the property.

Ensuring that preventative maintenance work is adhered to

Ensuring the highest standard of customer service is upheld at all times

Deal with maintenance enquiries in the office or via email.

Candidate Requirements

Direct previous experience preferable; however, knowledge, or an appreciation, of property construction and maintenance would be very beneficial, and we can provide training.

A driving licence is essential, as you will be required to drive to client properties to complete works.
